Arbitration and Mediation

Our firm’s arbitration work in the commercial area focuses largely on business contract issues in complex business, real estate, business tort, and securities disputes. Our attorneys have substantial experience with the arbitration process, having represented clients in numerous proceedings before the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Many of these cases are complex, multi-million-dollar disputes.

Mediation

Lawyers and their clients appreciate Martin Galbut’s and Keith Galbut’s ability to understand, distill, and evaluate conflicting positions; identify issues of contention; and facilitate productive paths toward settlement. Martin and Keith both emphasize the importance of an independent risk analysis when first examining the dispute, and aim to help parties reach resolution through knowledgeable, reasoned, and flexible discussion of the possible paths toward conflict resolution. Collectively, they have mediated hundreds of matters involving a wide range of business, real estate, contract, business tort, and securities disputes.

Martin and Keith bring to bear their extensive client-side mediation experience in the state and federal court systems and before the AAA and FINRA.

Martin has lectured on the subject of mediation and arbitration, and has more than 46 years of arbitration experience with the AAA and NASD/FINRA in complex business, real estate, contract, business tort, and securities disputes. Martin continues to serve as an arbitrator and mediator.

Keith has an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in addition to a law degree from ASU’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, and is able to act as an arbitrator and mediator in the context of complex business, banking, and real estate disputes.
