Galbut Beabeau, P.C. is proud to announce our newest addition to the firm, Maci R. Burke. Her practice focuses on corporate, real estate, and estate planning matters. She regularly advises individuals and businesses regarding entity formation; corporative governance; negotiation and drafting of contracts, including purchase agreements, employment agreements, construction agreements, leases, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements; and the development of estate and succession plans.

Maci joins the firm after earning her law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School with a concentration in Business Law. As a law student, Maci led the Business Law Clinic as student director and completed externships with SICK, Inc., a leading global producer of industrial sensors and opto-electronic technologies, and the Hennepin County Mental Health & Probate Court.

She honed her outstanding writing and editing skills while serving as an editor for the Journal of Law & Inequality and authoring  articles addressing novel topics in Native American Law and Family Law. Her scholarly works have been published by the Minnesota Law Review, Journal of Law & Inequality, and Inequality Inquiry. While at the University of Minnesota, Maci also coordinated the 2021 Summit for Civil Rights on housing policy and its relationship to education policy, racial segregation, and concentrated poverty.

In her free time, Maci is an avid hiker and cyclist and enjoys traveling and spending time with her English Springer Spaniel, Tug.

We are excited to have Maci as part of the team!
